(8.15)--Babysitting Cassie

Dear Sweet Cassi...

This li'l girl is so stinkin' precious and Ace and I just love her to death. So one afternoon she came over to our house, and we had the pleasure o' babysitting her for the afternoon and evening.

Yes...this was a really BIG flower...

See it's as big as our heads!!

Climbing up for picture in the tree...

Such a doll...my fav picture o' us.

Yes...we made it up the tree...

We are dressed the same and doing the same pose.

Looking for bugs down in the tree hole...

Ace lifting her up to see inside...any bugs?

Jumping out o' the tree to Ace...

What a good catch...love her face here...

She was most likely screaming and/or giggling...

Next we threw rocks into the river...

Yeah...she sure loved it...

Her new buddy, Ace...

Walking on the rocks...step...step...step...

Jump...jump...jump...

Me and my good buddy Jac...
AKA---JAC & JILL (:

Anybody looking to buy a new bike?!?

The jumping sure wore my arms out...

Pointing at the ducks in the river...

Me...o' course... (:

Shoulder Ride from Uncle Ace...

I believe I can fly....

Sporting my honey's YBC hat...

Haha...it was scary coming down the hill...

This was our bag o' treasure...

YAY!!! We are almost home!! (:

We had a great time watching Cassi. She was oh so good and we really enjoyed spending time with her and the walk was so much fun as well!! How awesome to have kids to enjoy!!

(7.13)--Lost Camera

This is a pretty funny story that I thought you would like to hear...*ahem*...read about it....so here it goes...

Ashley babysits kid-lits two blocks down from our house, so one afternoon Ashley brought them by to see me. It was so much fun. So here are the pictures from the visit...

Ashley and Riley
...so the picture taking begins...

Me and Devon playing UNO Attack!!

Riley wanted to be on my team...

Yes...I fit in my wedding dress!! (:
(The kid-lit's Mother is a photographer!)

This kid-lits are so silly!! (:

A Mirror Picture...Yes, Riley made Ashley wear my dress.

Getting ready for the photo shoot...

This is Devon's idea...with the flower and a KISS!

Riley told us where to stand and how to hold the flower.

You can totally tell that her mother is a photographer.

She would tell us how to pose, how to tilt our head, etc...

The captions below are what Riley said to us...

"Smile!! Say CHEESE!! Devon, make them laugh!"

"Now, Ashley, pretend you are giving me a flower."

"Devon, you get in the picture too!
Ashley, fold your hands!"

This is where the Camera Story gets fun....
Ashley and the kid-lits went home, we had such a fun time. Then the next day I was getting ready to go to a friends house and I was going to take my camera. It was no where to be found. Hmm..wonder where it was....searched every place it might be. Oh well!! I'll search for it another day I thought. Then it was Sunday and Ashley and all the teens were going off to camp for the week. Boo...so I texted Ashley and said, "Do you know where my camera is." She mentioned a few places where she thought it might be and told me the last place she remembered seeing the camera." Nope...it wasn't in any o' those places. She then left for camp. I continued to search for it when I could, but still there was no success.

Ashley came home from camp. YAY!! I was so excited. Again, I told Ashley I still hadn't found my camera. She asked me...Did you pray about it? So I prayed about it.

The next day, Ashley called me and said that Megan (the kid-lit's mother) had left Ashley a message saying they found a black camera in Riley's bag. YAY!!

The Lord Answers EVERY prayer...

Nothing is too li'l for God to hear...even my camera!!

My camera was found!!

I got my camera back...battery was dead.

BUT...when I put the memory card in, there were extra pictures...

Here's the pictures that were on the camera.
A waitress at Hoss's...

Some booster seats...at Hoss's...

Here's the bread buffet....

Another waitress at Hoss's...

So...I got some lovely pictures. Riley had put the camera in her bag and taken it home. She obviously took it everywhere and took lots o' pictures until the battery went dead.

Oh such a great story...but I learned my lesson...

Pray for even those li'l things!!

(6.13)--Babysitting

Babysitting David

David came over to our house to hang out with the coolest babysitter o' all times, he was going to spend the night and then I was to watch him all day Monday. Sunday evening after church, Ace took him for a motorcycle ride...He's wearing my pants... (:
Safety First...

Off they go...

After the bike ride, it was Wii Bowling...
I'm on the left with the pink ball...David is bowling...

David was asleep within the first 10 minutes o' the movie.

Guess we tuckered this li'l guy out...

Ace carried him up to bed...

What a wonderful evening it was. David was such a good li'l boy. I will have you know that I did beat him at Wii Bowling...although, he kicked my butt in basketball and everything else. Haha...what a great time!! (:

2.12--Babysitting..

Babysitting...Jonathan Price (JP)

Well, back when I was little (haha...yes, I'm still little, good one) I did A LOT o' babysitting. Babysitting was my job. One o' my FAVORITE li'l guys to babysit was Jonathan Price (JP). The main reason I loved babysitting him was I could take him to different places and he was very "sportzy"...we went to lots o' games and played lots o' baseball...football...soccer...basketball...any sport really!! I've watched him since he was a newborn...now he's 11!! WOW, I'm getting old!!

Here are some pictures back when he was 3 and I was 16!! Don't you just want to eat this li'l guy all up?
On the way to Detwiller to play ball!!

His giggle is the cutest EVER!!

I loved making him giggle...

Playing hardcore makes a boy thirsty...

...8 Years Later...

Jesse and Jonathan played some 1v1...

They got pretty into it.

These boys were hard core playing...

Pretty nice form don't you think?

Oh...it's ON!!

LOVE Jonathan's face in this one...he's having fun!

Jonathan looks so tiny next to Jesse...
(and Jesse really isn't that tall!)

Awesome form, right?

SWISH!!! Looks cool, right?

Jesse showing off some o' the moves...

Jonathan takes the shot!!

Me being old and sitting on the side.

Yup...being board...

I believe this shot went in...

...a behind the back move...

Must be too tired to get the rebound.

I think this looks cool...

Some dribbling skills...

It was nice for Billy Jo (Jonathan's mother) to call me up on the spur o' the moment to watch li'l Jonathan! I took him up to Juniata College and we played some hoops. When I first got there Jonathan "wasn't feeling so good"...so I wasn't sure if we'd be able to get to do something so active. Well, the college basketball went great! We played for 2 hours and then we went home and watched ESPN basketball...then he zonked!! (Think I tuckered him out!) Wow...miss babysitting the li'l guy...who's growing up and not so li'l anymore!! (:

THE END!!
