(6.15)--House hunting....

Hmm...what house should we get??

We've been looking to buy a house, so since my dad pretty much knows everybody he was showing us a house that was for super cheep, 5 acres o' land; however, it needed a good deal o' updating. Since Johnny and Lindsay were around we all went to look at the house...I love how we can make anything a fun time. Here are some o' the pictures...

This is
the shed...

Lindsay told me I'd be all ready for Easter decorations...

Gorgeous Carport...

OOOooo...a lovely place for my veggies? ...or flowers?

Outside fire chimney...

Walking to go see the house...

A place to park our riding lawn mower, tractor, four wheeler, and snow blower...

Lovin' the decorations...

Old well maybe...we better watch our step...

More decorations for St. Patty's Day...

Shed with some chairs and a bag o' garbage treasures...

Johnny being silly for the picture...

...after Lindsay yelled at him...Much BETTER!!

Where we would send our children to play...
...TOTALLY JUST KIDDING...

Ah...on to the inside o' the house....

The pantry...

What a lovely bathroom, yeah?

See the train going by outside the window?

Lindsay, don't get your finger pinched by the mouse trap!!!

Johnny the BEAST!!

Taking a picture o' Johnny from outside to inside...

He says the bathroom works GREAT!!

Lindsay trying out the shower...

We enjoyed looking at the house, but we felt it was too much work for us, so we shall keep looking. Yes, this post is 4 months late, so most o' you should know that we did buy a new house...I'll try to work on posting more pictures here shortly...

(6.13)--Babysitting

Babysitting David

David came over to our house to hang out with the coolest babysitter o' all times, he was going to spend the night and then I was to watch him all day Monday. Sunday evening after church, Ace took him for a motorcycle ride...He's wearing my pants... (:
Safety First...

Off they go...

After the bike ride, it was Wii Bowling...
I'm on the left with the pink ball...David is bowling...

David was asleep within the first 10 minutes o' the movie.

Guess we tuckered this li'l guy out...

Ace carried him up to bed...

What a wonderful evening it was. David was such a good li'l boy. I will have you know that I did beat him at Wii Bowling...although, he kicked my butt in basketball and everything else. Haha...what a great time!! (:

(5.16) Anniversary #2

Happy Anniversary--

Right after we got married we stopped at McDonalds before headed out to our "honeymoon spot" out in Grove City!! That's right, we're cheap!!
May 16, 2009!! YAY!!

May 16, 2011...Keepin' the Tradition!! (:
(Please note that this is the same table too!!)

Our Yummy (somewhat greasy food)...
Me--Grilled Chicken, Ranch Snack Wrap with sweet tea!!
Ace--Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Pepsi!!
...oh and LOTS and LOTS o' ketchup!

Guess we've established a tradition...I just love traditions....especially when it's cheap...we are just all over that bandwagon!! What a wonderful 2 years o' marriage. I'm the luckiest girl out there!! If you were to ask me how long we've been married I would say, "Physically two years o' marriage; however, it's really only been about a year to a year and a half o' marriage to me! Because o' all my hospitalization and dying back in March it seems like I've lost months if not a year o' my life!!" BUT...if you were to ask Ace how long he's been married, he'd tell you 10 years!! Haha...poor guy has been through so much with me! When he said, "in sickness and in health"...bet he didn't realize how much SICKNESS he was getting into!! I thank the Lord every day for such a wonderful hubby!! Can't wait for many more anniversaries to celebrate!! Love you, Babe!! (:

THE END!!

(5.14)--Fisher's House

The Fisher's invited us over for some supper and a fire. We are always excited to be able to spend time with them...

The super awesome fire...

Stephen and Steph playing some sort o' game...

You can't see Stephen's face real well...but it's funny!

This game took lots o' concentration...

I was chilly...like always...

Borrowed Steph's shoe...it was a li'l big...

Pretty Fire...

Yup, that's right...I'm making faces!! (:

Ace trying to ignore me taking random pictures...

Alisha trying to get warm by the fire...
We had a most wonderful...we always have a great time with them!! It's so wonderful to have such fabulous friends to hang out with. We love you guys!! (:

2.5--Chinese Spring Festival

Happy New Year, CHINA!

It's been great to have some culture to our same ol', same ol' American lives. After having Chinese children we have learned some very interesting things...like there is no Christmas in China...there is also no New Years! Actually, I take that back, the new year is based on the moon, not January 1st!! So February 5th was when we were able to celebrate the Chinese New Year with our daughters!! My camera died, so I didn't get many pictures.

Program...li'l blurry.

All o' us bringing in the Chinese New Year!

Wishing A Happy New Year in Chinese!

A group o' boys did a dance, it was probably my favorite.
Backstreet Boys?

Because there is no Christmas, no presents; however, there are a lot o' Chinese traditions. One o' the Chinese traditions is that parents and grandparents will fill a red envelope with lots o' money! So at each o' our tables there was a red envelope with a paper with a number written on it. Whoever got #1 got to go first to eat...
Ah...yes...we were #17 out o' 20!!

Our tickets...YEAH!!

I just thought this looked cool...

Some fancy music while we ate...

My plate...lots o' food to try!!

Ace's plate...

A beautiful piano piece...

She did a great job.

This boy sang a popular Chinese song.

I thought he did a great job!
...but I didn't know the words, or the tune!

At the end o' his song, a few girls ran up to him and put garland around his neck to congratulate him for doing such a great job singing.
What a wonderful job!

And then my camera died, and I wasn't able to get anymore pictures. Boo...I didn't even get a picture o' us with my daughters...it's so sad! Maybe next Chinese New Year, yeah? We had a great time, it was fun trying all the different foods, and the performances were fantastical!
THE END!!!
