Happy HALF Anniversary to US!!

I know this is almost a year old, but figured it was better late than not at all.  For our half anniversary, we celebrated by cooking a simple, fun, Jill-kinda meal...Anniversary Pancakes.  Haha...Each pancake my wonderful hubby had to guess what it was a drawing/pancake o', which ultimately, describes our life!

Over the years, I got to be close with Robyn.  She became MORE than my physical therapist, but a GREAT friend!  Only later to find out that we are distantly related.  Haha...no wonder we became such amazing pals.  Thanks again for everything Robyn.  You really did SO much for me!! (:  She ended up leaving Drayer in Huntingdon to work up in the Drayer up in Bedford.  So this was my last day with her... *sniff*...I'll live...

5.24--Cupcake Day

I had the pleasure o' babysitting sweet Natalie one to two days a week just for the month o' May.  It was soo much fun.  Every babysitting day, we would have an "activity" for that day.  So for THIS day, it was Cupcake Day!  We made cupcakes and then decorated them.

Natalie wanted to help do the dishes!

5.16--Anniversary

Happy Three-Year Anniversary

Our traditional anniversary meal is always celebrated at McDonalds.  You may think this is a weird tradition; however, after our wedding we were both hungry and since I'd just had surgery, I only wanted to eat soup.  The only restaurant with soup was McDonalds.  Thus that's where we ate!  So every year, we go out to eat at McDonalds!!!

Our "other" tradition we thought would be fun, however many years we are celebrating that is how many times we must celebrate/eat together.  We don't necessarily have to go OUT/out to eat, but we have to celebrate together! (:

We got to walk downtown with our good friends Tom & Amy and their kid-lets to watch the parade.  It made it even better when we got to see our other good friends Fred and Hannah.  You know that if it wasn't for Fred and Hannah, Adam & I wouldn't have met, gotten, married, and lived happily ever after!!

7.7--Busy Saturday

Saturday afternoon I spent at Joyce Brubaker's house for a quick visit.  She, as always, cooked a super tasty lunch for everyone to eat...

After lunch at Joyce's we went to go visit Austin.  Austin had a nasty accident and broke both his arms in a couple places, had wires and screws put in...poor boy.  We decided to bring him some gifts and bake Essie (and the family) some supper.

I got Austin a card and accidentally licked it shut before Becky could sign it.  As Austin opened up his card, she grabbed it out o' his hand and quickly signed the card.  It was quite funny.  He didn't know what to think!

Even though Austin doesn't look thrilled, he loved this present.  I got him a bell that he could ring and someone would come to his side and figure out what he needed.  The only bell I could fin was a girl angel; so I spiced it up a li'l bit!  Can you see "his" pants and shirt?  Hopefully, he was able to use it...

We were on our way home and there was a group o' people standing in the middle o' the road and they wouldn't move.  We literally drove up to them, and they just stared at us...How retarded!?!
