Mother's Day

We had a mother's day party a li'l later. Because I wasn't able to be out to Grove City for Caden's birthday, I saved his present and had him open it up at house.

Shan wrote me a wonderful mother's day card and got me a cheetah printed scarf. The card was so sweet. She basically wrote how amazing both Ace and I were and how much she appreciated us letting her stay with us.

Lola is such a dear daughter too! She actually didn't stay with us, but was Shan's roommate. So whenever Shan came to visit or over to eat, she brought Lola. So now, Lola is our "adopted" daughter!! (: We are soo lucky!! (:

Mini Jesse? What a great mother's day we had. It was great to see Jesse, Doug, Heidi, and Caden. Any excuse to all get together to eat food...I'm down with that!! (: Also, we are so lucky to have such wonderful "daughters" and look forward to many more mother's days to spend together!!

Well there was a big celebration for Bob and Peggy Snare's Anniversary. O' course we went to cheer them on!! (: They are very special to us, and really emulate a Godly Christian Marriage! PLUS...it's been 50 years!!! WOW!!!

Happy Anniversary--

Right after we got married we stopped at McDonalds before headed out to our "honeymoon spot" out in Grove City!! That's right, we're cheap!!

Guess we've established a tradition...I just love traditions....especially when it's cheap...we are just all over that bandwagon!! What a wonderful 2 years o' marriage. I'm the luckiest girl out there!! If you were to ask me how long we've been married I would say, "Physically two years o' marriage; however, it's really only been about a year to a year and a half o' marriage to me! Because o' all my hospitalization and dying back in March it seems like I've lost months if not a year o' my life!!" BUT...if you were to ask Ace how long he's been married, he'd tell you 10 years!! Haha...poor guy has been through so much with me! When he said, "in sickness and in health"...bet he didn't realize how much SICKNESS he was getting into!! I thank the Lord every day for such a wonderful hubby!! Can't wait for many more anniversaries to celebrate!! Love you, Babe!! (:
