(7.13)--Lost Camera

This is a pretty funny story that I thought you would like to hear...*ahem*...read about it....so here it goes...

Ashley babysits kid-lits two blocks down from our house, so one afternoon Ashley brought them by to see me. It was so much fun. So here are the pictures from the visit...

Ashley and Riley
...so the picture taking begins...

Me and Devon playing UNO Attack!!

Riley wanted to be on my team...

Yes...I fit in my wedding dress!! (:
(The kid-lit's Mother is a photographer!)

This kid-lits are so silly!! (:

A Mirror Picture...Yes, Riley made Ashley wear my dress.

Getting ready for the photo shoot...

This is Devon's idea...with the flower and a KISS!

Riley told us where to stand and how to hold the flower.

You can totally tell that her mother is a photographer.

She would tell us how to pose, how to tilt our head, etc...

The captions below are what Riley said to us...

"Smile!! Say CHEESE!! Devon, make them laugh!"

"Now, Ashley, pretend you are giving me a flower."

"Devon, you get in the picture too!
Ashley, fold your hands!"

This is where the Camera Story gets fun....
Ashley and the kid-lits went home, we had such a fun time. Then the next day I was getting ready to go to a friends house and I was going to take my camera. It was no where to be found. Hmm..wonder where it was....searched every place it might be. Oh well!! I'll search for it another day I thought. Then it was Sunday and Ashley and all the teens were going off to camp for the week. Boo...so I texted Ashley and said, "Do you know where my camera is." She mentioned a few places where she thought it might be and told me the last place she remembered seeing the camera." Nope...it wasn't in any o' those places. She then left for camp. I continued to search for it when I could, but still there was no success.

Ashley came home from camp. YAY!! I was so excited. Again, I told Ashley I still hadn't found my camera. She asked me...Did you pray about it? So I prayed about it.

The next day, Ashley called me and said that Megan (the kid-lit's mother) had left Ashley a message saying they found a black camera in Riley's bag. YAY!!

The Lord Answers EVERY prayer...

Nothing is too li'l for God to hear...even my camera!!

My camera was found!!

I got my camera back...battery was dead.

BUT...when I put the memory card in, there were extra pictures...

Here's the pictures that were on the camera.
A waitress at Hoss's...

Some booster seats...at Hoss's...

Here's the bread buffet....

Another waitress at Hoss's...

So...I got some lovely pictures. Riley had put the camera in her bag and taken it home. She obviously took it everywhere and took lots o' pictures until the battery went dead.

Oh such a great story...but I learned my lesson...

Pray for even those li'l things!!

(6.30)--New House, Moving Day

We are HOMO---wners!! (:

We Bought a New House...!!!! Yay!!!!

It was so awesome to see the Lord provide for this need. For some time now, we have been house hunting. Because Ace is so good at fixing up the house, he was frothing at the bit wanting to move out. We looked at 4-5 houses and we were starting to think there wasn't anything in our price range...then we looked at "The Barn House"...I named all the houses we looked as not to get them confused with each other. Anyway, as we walked thru the house we loved it!! We could see such potential...we also made a list o' things we HAD to have in the house, and this house had all o' them. Here's our list:

We wanted off street parking....................................CHECK!! 2.75 Carport!
Ace needed a work shop place...................................CHECK!! One Car Garage!
I HAD to have TWO bathrooms................................CHECK!! 2 FULL bathrooms!
A guest room for visitors/family that visit...............CHECK!! Half finished basement with full bath!

So as we finished looking at the house we stood underneath the carport and said to Heather (our realtor)...can we make an offer on the house?

They accepted and we were going to be HOMEOWNERS!!

We signed papers to buy our house at 9:00 a.m.

We are HOMO......owners!! (:

We started to move stuff at 9:15 a.m. when we got back to the house.

Our first letter addressed to our NEW address!

It took 3 HOURS to get everything from the old house to the new house!!

Pizza from OIP for all the hard workers.

We had SOO many people that helped us.

Mama McCall & Ashley

Aren't they so cute?

My favorite Uncle Chucky came to help too...I love him!! (:

Hannah and Ace taking a break.

Nick taking a break after carrying a buttload o' boxes!!

So nice to see Hannah and have her help us move!

Me telling everybody what to do...

Haha..I just love this picture...

Which way should we put the bed...

Choosing the right spot for the bed is a REAL concern!!

Haha...such goofs, aren't they?

Look how strong they are....SUPER STRONG!!!

Ace checking out our attic...
...we will not be putting stuff up there...

Ash and Es taking picture o' our progress!!

Me and my li'l sis...ASHLEY!!

Mark and Matt stopped by to visit...

...They went to the park.

Weston putting his knee pads on...safety first!!
(last time he fell and got a BIG gash in his leg)

I just love this girl...she's so flippin' sweet!

Susan LOVED this wallpaper!!

It was so awesome to have everyone help us. We had 5 trucks and a trailer! We filled up each of the trucks 2 time...and 3 o' the trucks and the trailer we filled up 3 times!! We moved everything in 3 hours...which is unbelievable! I also realized that we had soo much stuff!! The goal is to get rid o' a lot o' it!! Hopefully, we shall see how that all works out!!

So awesome to have such wonderful friends to help us move!! (: So thanks to everyone that helped! I didn't get a chance to take many pictures cause I was busy unpacking items that we'd need for THAT night!! It's so awesome to see how the Lord provides for us and for our amazing friends!! (:

(5.14)--Li'l League Game

Nick vs. Isaac

Lots o' fans showed up to cheer them on--

Elise and Nate...

Me and Ashley...

I love this picture o' Julia and me...

Gorgeous day to get some sun and chat with friends.

Don't ask me the score o' the game, cause it's been months and months ago...but I do slightly remembering one o' them being really happy and the other one being really mad. Most o' all it was just great to sit in the sun and talk with friends! Two o' the best things for you! YAY for friends!! (:

5.7--Nate's Game

GO NATE!!!
That is what we cheered at this game. IT was a rather cool day, so I dressed fairly warm. So here is the story...

Bobbi Jo helped me out o' her car and grabbed her chair to set it up, runs back to the car, gets her other chair set up, and then we are ready to WATCH the game and yell GO NATE GO!!

A few minutes after we sat down to watch the game, a few li'l sprinkles started to trickle on me. After the few turned into a few more, it was time to rush back into the car. I couldn't walk and obviously couldn't carry anything...so it was a big ordeal getting me into the car to keep from getting wet.

Then is seemed as though the rain had slowed down, so we thought we could get back out o' the car and set everything up...so we did! We brought all the chairs out and all o' our lunch boxes. We finally got all set up....this would be the THIRD time in case anybody is keeping track.

Finally the rain stopped, we got all settled back out watching the game, cheering GO NICK GO!! Although the DARK clouds starting to creep up on us....we managed to take a few pictures with the beautiful Dark tornado-carrying clouds!! Enjoy the pictures....

No, it was not windy outside...not at all!!

Our Scariness-Smiles...try to guess why?

As the storm approaches,
we all decide to get together for a picture.

Jonna, Elise, Me, Ash
We would be Nate's Cheer-Section....
GOOO.......NATE..........GOOO!!! (<-see us cheer?)

Tornado winds starting to lift me out o' my chair... Oh where...oh where....is my hubby??

It was a great game to watch. Nate even hit a home run!! So it was a great day had by all. Although, I digress for one moment to say that getting our spots picked out and getting all settled in our spots....then the silly rain came down, forcing us to a shelter o' some sort (ususally the car). One time o' that is ok...but THREE?!?!?! I do love the number three, so it was all wonderful!!! I got to see 5 lovely ladies, and 1 handsome young baseball player that hit an amazing HOME RUN!!! YAY!!

THE END!!!

(4.21) Race for Education

Calvary Christian Academy
@ Detwiller Field

Every year, Calvary Christian Academy (my all-ma-mater) has a school wide race to raise money for the school. Each student has one hour to run as many laps around the track as they can run. Students send out letters to friends, family, etc... to be a sponsor or to just donate a flat rate. Haha...hope that was understandable. Joyce, my babysitter, has two lovely girls that go to CCA so she thought it'd be good for me to get out o' the house. I personally thought it'd be great to get the stink blown off o' me!! It was a particularly cool day, so I had to be sure to dress warm!!
Warm soccer socks were a HUGE plus!

Dressing the surgical site...it has to be warm too!

Ready to get the stink blown off me!!!

Earl was at the race too...he was dressed super warm!

Was watching some cute li'l kid playing ball...

When each student run laps around the track, they get a rubber band to put around their wrist for each lap that they have completed. At the end o' the race they count up their rubber bands.
A mother counting the "laps" ran.

After Becca ran her race, she dumped water all over her shirt...what a nut case!! She did really good on running on her laps. I'm pretty sure she ran 16 laps!!
She wouldn't smile for a good picture.

My buddy, Weston!!

Breanna taking a li'l break!

My dear sweet sister, Ashley!!

My best buddy ol' pal, Elise!

Gotta have a silly picture, duh!

Everybody praying before they run their laps.

More praying...

The organizer...TERRY SNARE!

Everybody did a great job, and they were able to raise lots o' money! Ashley burnt her face really bad, so bad that they formed blisters. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures o' her face for my blog.
