3.29--Babysitting

The Phares Children

After school, I picked up the kids from school and watched them till late that evening. So I enjoyed having them over, making supper, playing games, and taking pictures.

These guys are TOUGH!

Don't cross these two...

Don't worry, they are just POSING!

Seeing how sharp the swords were...

Yup, they were sharp!!

Breanna playing the Wii!!

It wasn't all fun and games...they did their homework.
I might have given them a few pieces o' candy.

We played chess too...

Our really cool fire and ice brownies.

Bre was so proud o' her work!!

Wes had to get a picture too!

CRAZY kids...

What a great time. I didn't get any pictures o' our music recital, but it was fantastic. Wish I would've taken some videos and pictures because it was absolutely hilarious! What wonderful children! What an AMAZING family they are!! Such a fun time!

3.18--Dad's Knee Surgery

Dad had knee/leg surgery done on March 18th. His bowleggedness was causing problems with his meniscus (helps cushion when you straighten and bend the leg), which resulted in a very serious surgery! We stopped over to visit right after.
Pretty, huh?

Still in the leg brace.

He would last very long on his back.

The creepy cat we sawl on our way home.

He's doing much better, aside from not listening to his doctor's order to stay off his feet. He's got way to much to do, so he has to keep working. Hoping he hears good news from the doctors soon! Hopefully work will slow down and he can get a chance to rest before it's too late!!

2.14--Hockey

David's Hockey Game
At Galactic Ice Rink

One o' the kids that I babysit (David Zoerner) plays hockey. He invited me to one o' his games, and we made it! It was very awesome, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Here are a few pictures from the game!

He's growing up soo fast!

Rebecka and I...it was cold!!!

Roseanne helped me cheer!!

GOOO David...
(He's in the yellow...#15)

Right after he to a shot...almost made it.

It was a great game...and it was a GREAT experience. I'd never been to a hockey game here in PA, so it was interesting! Actually, it was awesome!! LOVED it! He really was the best one out there!! Again, so lucky to see David growing up and scoring goals!! He did such a great job! I'm not even his mother, but I was soo proud o' him!!

Niko and Fink...being silly...

Sweet li'l Sarah.
(Can you see the ornery in her eyes?)

Tevin...reminds me soo much o' Yogi!!

My best buddy, Vicki!! (:

Ahhh...good ol' gymnastics meets! I love being a part o' each o' these girls. It's so amazing to watch them grow up, learn new things, and grow up to be so way mature!! Love them all!! How lucky am I?? Just wish I wasn't in the hospital most o' the time...I've missed most o' the meets and most o' the practices from being in the hospital. So thankful they still let me coach!

2.12--Stewart's Visit

The Patrick House
Owned by JC.

Juniata College owns this house and rents it out to different families, clubs, church groups, etc... Doug and Heidi brought their youth group up for a winter weekend. They arrived early so they could check out the house and figure where everyone was going to sleep and set everything up. While they were taking care o' everything in the house, my job was to watch Caden (and take pictures as well). Here they are.

The Patrick House.

Cool Blue Dog Poop!!

Silly Silly Caden...
(He always crosses his feet and
removes socks and shoes off his right foot.)

He loves PICKLES...

...just like Auntie Jill!!
(...you know there's always pickles at my house!!)
I love this li'l guy so much, and it was ever so great to see my family! I miss them and wish they lived closer! When they come to visit, I try to take every opportunity to spend time with them. Caden and his love for pickles is my special bond with him. He even knows the sign for pickle! Hope to see them soon.

2.11--Flooding

"Water, water, everywhere; yet not a drop to drink."

We are not allowed to use the basement. Why? You may ask...well this is why. We have a small river in the basement. Actually, whenever it rains we get a small river that comes in one side o' the basement, flowing across the cement floor, and seeping out the other side. Here are some pictures.
The source o' the river...

Water flowing in at the steps.
Oh...FEET PICTURE!! (:

Wanna go for a swim?
Our basement...filled with water!

Our crooked stairs...

2.10--Coffee with Steph

It's always nice to get together with a friend for a hot drink on a bitter and cold wintry day. One day a very good friend o' mine (STEPH FISHER) picked me up so we could have lunch together with a nice hot drink. Three blocks down from my house is a coffee shop with a wonderful selection o' hot beverages. We'd just watched Green Hornet so this was particularly funny to me! (: They brought Steph's latte out.

What a pretty cup o' Jo?
(Make's you not wanna drink it!)

I'm so thankful for such wonderful friends.
Thanks Steph, for being my friend!
