9.5--Sharp Shooters.

We went out to the shooting range to shoot in the guns before we were to go red tag deer hunting. So Dad took us out to practice.

Professional Sniper...right here!

Like my headphones? (:

Ace is up next...

He looks very serious.

The targets...

Bottom Left - Jill Bottom Left - Dad

Me & Ace with our targets.

After practicing all the shooting o' the targets, we ended up shooting about the same. Both our targets that we shot the second time around were so close together that the edges were touching. It was pretty sweet. I'd never seen Ace shot, and he did pretty good!! Haha...almost as good as me. We both have a long way to go to be as good as dad!! Haha...we must keep working!!

9.1--New TV Stand.

We needed a cabinet to hold all o' our dvd's, so Ace made me a very beautiful TV stand with a place to house all o' our movies. So here are the before and after pictures.

The OLD TV Stand (New TV).

New TV Stand (Pine)
The DVD's are stored on the side o' the stand.

8.30--Carp

Raystown Lake Fishies

Another one o' our very fun commodities around Huntingdon, is the amazing...Raystown Lake. Like how I built that up for the great revealing? Anyway, many people travel from all over the U.S. to park their boats and do some camping here at Raystown Lake. One section o' the lake where the boats are docked is a place where many people come by and throw dog food, crackers, or I throw moldy and stale bread in at the fishes.

Feeding the fishies...Haha...hilarious.

Mama showing the girls how it works.

The fish LOVE moldy bread!

TONS and TONS o' Carp...

The girls taking pictures...

Jesse tried to catch the carp...

8.29--Zip Line

Raystown Zip Lines

Adam and I opened our home to two girls who were going to Juniata College. We had two lovely girls, Shan (like Shawn) who is from China and Aya (pronounced- I-ya like what you say when you kick some one) from Japan. We fed them breakfast every morning and then we fed them supper a few times throughout the week that they were at our house. My parents (& Jesse) also housed a student from Japan named Makiko (Mah-kee-koe).

We tried to do a few "activities" and show them around Huntingdon, cause we have tons o' things to do around this place. One o' the things that we wanted to show was them was the Raystown Zip Lines. Jesse worked there so it was a great time to just have fun and watch Jesse work.

Jesse fixing my safety gear.

"OW, Jesse, that's too tight!"

Aya taking some pictures.

Shan is all ready to go.

All excited to go on the zip lines...

Here comes Aya...

Haha...this is great, they were trying to choke me!

Jesse, Shan, and Makiko.

YEAH...we made it!! (:

Shan, Aya, Makiko, Me, and Jesse.

Jesse's lovely spray job!

We had a wonderful time and just as we finished our runs, the sky got real dark and started to pour down rain as we headed to the car. Not before we were able to enjoy ourselves. If you haven't been out to the zip lines, you should go, it's so much fun, AND you get to see Jesse! We had a great time, well at least I did; hopefully the girls had a fun time.

8.19--Sakura

Happy Birthday, Stephen Fisher! For Stephen Fisher's birthday, him and Steph wanted to eat at Sakura. For those who don't know or have never heard o' Sakura, it's a Japanese Hibachi Grill. We'd never been there, but it was the absolute coolest thing ever!! Here are the pictures o' our evening. I wish I would have gotten pictures o' when they sang happy birthday and played the bongos!! Haha...oh what a sight...or should I say, what an experience!! (:

For those o' you who have never been to Sakura, you sit around the grill, and the Japanese cooker guy comes out and cooks your food right in front o' you. It's the coolest thing ever. He does all sorts o' tricks and puts on a great show.

Cookin' up our rice...

The sweet plates..SAKURA!

The meat...steak...chicken...lobster...shrimp...

My Rice and chopsticks...YUMMY!!

They stacked up the onion and then
poured a flammable liquid in the volcano onion...

...and then he lit it on fire...

The steam from the onion volcano...

Li'l Ethan LOVED it!!! (:

He threw food up in the air and
we had to catch it in our mouths.

Some Japanese for me to learn...

Thanks Stephen and Steph for taking us to Sakura and also thanks for including us in your birthday celebration. Whenever I see bongos, it makes me want to sing Happy Birthday!
