(7.13)--Lost Camera

This is a pretty funny story that I thought you would like to hear...*ahem*...read about it....so here it goes...

Ashley babysits kid-lits two blocks down from our house, so one afternoon Ashley brought them by to see me. It was so much fun. So here are the pictures from the visit...

This is Devon's idea...with the flower and a KISS!

Riley told us where to stand and how to hold the flower.

You can totally tell that her mother is a photographer.



She would tell us how to pose, how to tilt our head, etc...



The captions below are what Riley said to us...



"Smile!! Say CHEESE!! Devon, make them laugh!"

"Now, Ashley, pretend you are giving me a flower."

"Devon, you get in the picture too!
Ashley, fold your hands!"

This is where the Camera Story gets fun....
Ashley and the kid-lits went home, we had such a fun time. Then the next day I was getting ready to go to a friends house and I was going to take my camera. It was no where to be found. Hmm..wonder where it was....searched every place it might be. Oh well!! I'll search for it another day I thought. Then it was Sunday and Ashley and all the teens were going off to camp for the week. Boo...so I texted Ashley and said, "Do you know where my camera is." She mentioned a few places where she thought it might be and told me the last place she remembered seeing the camera." Nope...it wasn't in any o' those places. She then left for camp. I continued to search for it when I could, but still there was no success.

Ashley came home from camp. YAY!! I was so excited. Again, I told Ashley I still hadn't found my camera. She asked me...Did you pray about it? So I prayed about it.

The next day, Ashley called me and said that Megan (the kid-lit's mother) had left Ashley a message saying they found a black camera in Riley's bag. YAY!!

The Lord Answers EVERY prayer...



Nothing is too li'l for God to hear...even my camera!!


My camera was found!!



I got my camera back...battery was dead.


BUT...when I put the memory card in, there were extra pictures...

So...I got some lovely pictures. Riley had put the camera in her bag and taken it home. She obviously took it everywhere and took lots o' pictures until the battery went dead.

Oh such a great story...but I learned my lesson...

12.11--Snare's House.

Hanging out at the Snare's house was a buttload o' fun! This is really old, sorry it's been so long before I was able to post this. After Nicole took our Christmas pictures, I took Nicole back home so I had to take lots o' pictures when I got there.

BABYSITTER--ASHLEY SNARE

Funny how I used to babysit Ashley when she was li'l, and now the tables are turned! She stayed Thursday night in the guest bedroom and then babysat me all day, while Adam was at work! We had lots o' fun, and she is a GREAT babysitter!! (:

Ashley needed a dress for the sports banquet coming up, so I told her where to find all my old "nice" dresses, and she brought them all down. So we had a short "photo shoot" trying on all the dresses!! Haha....

Our storm door is pretty much trash. It doesn't latch. It doesn't have that screen thing in it. It's just poopy. (Don't worry, Ace said he will fix it in the next week or two.) Anyway, Ashley loved crawling thru the hole where the screen was supposed to be! I thought it was hilarious, so I tried to capture a few shots.

And now...the reenactment picture.

Many o' you may or may not know, but when Ashley Snare was li'l she idolized me! I played the flute, she wanted to play the flute. I did this, she wanted to do that. (Her poor mother!). Anyway, her mom took a picture o' me when I came over to babysit her. She was so excited that I was coming that she didn't even look at the camera. Here is the picture from oh so very long ago...

So did we do a good job staging it. I mean look we even wore the colors. I wore a pony tail, put my hands in my mouth. Ashley wore all black, folded her hands in her lap. Finally, we staged it in the kitchen like the "old" picture. Anyway, we thought this would be funny!

I'm very very thankful for all the people who have helped babysit me over the past week. Whenever I can't find anybody, Terry Snare usually just comes and gets me. I'm sorry I don't have any picture o' me and Terry, so I will use an old picture o' us, cause we look so good in it! (:
Thanks Terry for everything you've done. You really are amazing. It's also been fun to have different "talks" just the two o' us. So thanks. Also, sorry that I didn't take any picture o' all the times I came to your house. Haha...you'd think I'd be better about that sorta thing. Thanks Again...you are AWESOME!!! LOVE YOU!! MUAH!!
