Carol, my old roommate from back in the day when I went to Northland Baptist Bible College, stopped by to visit me. Because it was such a long trip from where she lived, she talked two girls from her youth group into riding along with her.

Shellana and James had spent the evening at my sister's house, and then they stopped by on Saturday and spent time visiting, talking, and just chill-axin; and showing off the presents that they got me.

An AMAZING Answer to Prayer:

This post is an AMAZING answer to prayer that came at such a wonderful time. It really is amazing to see the Lord work in amazing ways! (:

Ace works at Your Building Centers. He started the job in June working at the front o' the counter in sales. In December he got promoted to Contractor Sales, which is in the back. On Wednesday as it got closer and closer to closing time, one o' the contractors kinda fittled around. After everyone left, the contractor walked slowly up to Ace and handed him a letter saying, "Hey, this is for you and your wife." Aww...how sweet, right?

When Ace arrived to my room, he handed me the letter and explained the story. So together we opened the letter and this is what we found.

How thankful we are that there are people in this world that are SO willing to give. Most people probably don't think about how much money Ace spends running back and forth from home to work to home to Altoona to home, then back to work, back home, back to work, back to home, off to Altoona. You get the gist. So this letter and the money was just a reminder o' how God is in control and he knows exactly what he's doing. He's got this! I'm SO thankful for God's faithfulness and for this contractor and his wife's amazing sacrifice. We know that God is in control, this just made it real. We know people are thinking/praying for us, this was confirmation. It makes me sing "AHHHHHHHH!!! WAHOO!!!! GOD ROCKS!!" in my heart...oh and outloud too!
