(6.30)--New House, Moving Day

We are HOMO---wners!! (:

We Bought a New House...!!!! Yay!!!!

It was so awesome to see the Lord provide for this need. For some time now, we have been house hunting. Because Ace is so good at fixing up the house, he was frothing at the bit wanting to move out. We looked at 4-5 houses and we were starting to think there wasn't anything in our price range...then we looked at "The Barn House"...I named all the houses we looked as not to get them confused with each other. Anyway, as we walked thru the house we loved it!! We could see such potential...we also made a list o' things we HAD to have in the house, and this house had all o' them. Here's our list:

We wanted off street parking....................................CHECK!! 2.75 Carport!
Ace needed a work shop place...................................CHECK!! One Car Garage!
I HAD to have TWO bathrooms................................CHECK!! 2 FULL bathrooms!
A guest room for visitors/family that visit...............CHECK!! Half finished basement with full bath!

So as we finished looking at the house we stood underneath the carport and said to Heather (our realtor)...can we make an offer on the house?

They accepted and we were going to be HOMEOWNERS!!

We signed papers to buy our house at 9:00 a.m.

We are HOMO......owners!! (:

We started to move stuff at 9:15 a.m. when we got back to the house.

Our first letter addressed to our NEW address!

It took 3 HOURS to get everything from the old house to the new house!!

Pizza from OIP for all the hard workers.

We had SOO many people that helped us.

Mama McCall & Ashley

Aren't they so cute?

My favorite Uncle Chucky came to help too...I love him!! (:

Hannah and Ace taking a break.

Nick taking a break after carrying a buttload o' boxes!!

So nice to see Hannah and have her help us move!

Me telling everybody what to do...

Haha..I just love this picture...

Which way should we put the bed...

Choosing the right spot for the bed is a REAL concern!!

Haha...such goofs, aren't they?

Look how strong they are....SUPER STRONG!!!

Ace checking out our attic...
...we will not be putting stuff up there...

Ash and Es taking picture o' our progress!!

Me and my li'l sis...ASHLEY!!

Mark and Matt stopped by to visit...

...They went to the park.

Weston putting his knee pads on...safety first!!
(last time he fell and got a BIG gash in his leg)

I just love this girl...she's so flippin' sweet!

Susan LOVED this wallpaper!!

It was so awesome to have everyone help us. We had 5 trucks and a trailer! We filled up each of the trucks 2 time...and 3 o' the trucks and the trailer we filled up 3 times!! We moved everything in 3 hours...which is unbelievable! I also realized that we had soo much stuff!! The goal is to get rid o' a lot o' it!! Hopefully, we shall see how that all works out!!

So awesome to have such wonderful friends to help us move!! (: So thanks to everyone that helped! I didn't get a chance to take many pictures cause I was busy unpacking items that we'd need for THAT night!! It's so awesome to see how the Lord provides for us and for our amazing friends!! (:

(6.10)--Ohio Visitor...

Time with Dad F.

So yes, I am WAY behind on my posting. This post is from the beginning o' June. Dad Finnegan drove a motorcycle the whole way from Ohio to Pennsylvania to visit us.

WAHOO...our bikes look good!!

Gearing up to go on a ride...

It was to hard to put on my own helmet.

Alright...safety...CHECK!!

My first bike ride since my surgery...

Driving Dad Finnegan thru town...

Making sure he was still back there...

On the open road...

Deciding where we are going out to eat...

Din-Din at Top's...

Me and Dad F...

Delicious food...

Off to meet Uncle Chucky, Aunt Tam, and Decker...

After supper at Topps, we called Uncle Chucky and Aunt Tammy to see if they wanted to go for a motorcycle ride with us. They did. So we met up with them at the bottom o' the hill and off we went to the overlook.
...The Finnegans...
Please note: My hair is smashed from wearing the helmet!!

Don't let that face fool you, he loves my kisses!! (:

Not sure what I'm doing here...thanks, babe!

Me and My Honey...holding hands...

...The Gang...
Uncle Chucky, Aunt Tam, Dad F, Me, Ace.

We took Dad to Raystown Overlook. Then we asked this sweet couple who was there if they could take a few pictures for us. I only put up two, but they took many many more!! (:

A good close up o' all o' us...

See all those steps, Ace carried me the whole way up them!!

More riding = MORE pictures!!

Due to a li'l potty break, we stopped to stretch our feet. Then Dad asked Chucky if he wanted to try out the bike...o' course who would turn down that offer. So he did...

See me wearing the helmet? Safety First! (:

Doesn't it look like we are going really fast?
The color came out a li'l weird on this one, but I kinda like it.

You thought there wouldn't be a foot picture?

A gorgeous evening for a night ride...

It got dark out pretty quickly...

Can you see the teeny-tiny moon?

On our way home...

A beautiful end to a perfect day...

We went to Woody's BBQ for lunch...

Sunday a.m. Dad F packed up...put his helmet on...

Got on his *ahem* Uncle Dave's bike...

...and he was off to Ohio...

It was so great to have Dad Finnegan come visit us. Little did he know that it would be the last time he'd visit us at our Mifflin Street house. Just wish Ohio wasn't so far away...

THE END!!!
