7.28--UPMC/SRBC

July 28, 2010.

Jesse drove me down to Pittsburgh to my doctor's appointment. Gotta love that good ol' brother-sister time. Our way down was awful. There was really bad road construction on 22W, surprise, surprise!! We were stuck behind the traffic and we were moving at an alarming rate o' 10 mph! Talk about it sucking hard core; however, I must tell you all that Jesse is an amazing driver. If anyone needs to get to an appointment at an alarming (yet safe) rate o' speed, he's your man! If anyone needs a get away driver, he's your man. If anyone is in the middle o' having a contractions within 5 minutes apart (crowning may or may not be in progress) and you don't have an ambulance available, Jesse is your man! (: Ok, enough said. We left on time, got stuck in traffic causing us an extra 30 minutes, and we still made it to my appointment on time.

We stopped at Burger King to get a drink, and I had already needed to use the bathroom! Gotta love traveling with me, right?

We pulled into the drive through at Burger King and they ask us, "Welcome to Burger King, would you like to try something special?"

We respectfully declined and Jesse says, "I'd like to have an Oreo McFlurry!"

The attendant said, "I'm sorry honey, you can only get that at McDonald's this is Burger King!"

We laughed oh so very hard that we just had to pull around to finish our order. They probably thought we were drunk or something. Silly silly McCracken kids! (:

We got to Pittsburgh in record time...

I texted on Jesse's phone, my phone, AND ran the ipod.

After my appointment, Jesse and I met up with Johnny and Jason for a bite to eat at TGIF. What a lovely meal. After the meal we had about 10-15 minutes to kill so we went on a photo shoot! YEAH! We all LOVE pictures, right?

What a great long trip!! Yikes! Thank goodness for a willing brother to drive me down and Austin's company to bring me back! Yay for friends and family. It was a wonderful time and it was great to see all o' our friends. At the talent show, Doug did this really funny skit; however, I'm having an AWFUL time getting it to load and work right. I tried if it works yeah, but as o' right now it looks like it's not working. But you can try!

I was SOO grateful to have had my sister with me when Ace and my mother couldn't stay with me; however, my sister was WONDERFUL. She was willing to give up being with her family, rocking her li'l boy to sleep, and just overall self-lessness. My family is so amazing!! (:

/\/\/\Heidi Gives Jill a Makeover./\/\/\

After 5 days o' constant yorking, I was finally able to get up and move around. Heidi was oh so kind to help me with my shower, wash my hair, dry my hair, and then even curl my hair. YEAH for being clean!! (: YEAH for sisters!

Just a li'l tad bit o' information, the last time Heidi curled my hair was when I graduated high school. I was crying SO hard and begging mom to make her stop. Thankfully mom didn't make her stop and I looked stunning! Haha...oh that was a fun time.

Gramma Sara came to visit me. A friend o' hers had a doctors appointment down here at UPMC, she found out I was down her, so she decided to ride down. I told her that I had to get a picture o' me and her together. She told me that she hated her picture taken and had to respectfully refuse. Needless to say, I had to have proof that she came to visit me b/c she will be 90 years old in just a few weeks. Anyway, I told her that we could take a picture o' our feet, which as you can see, she accepted!

Johnny (my brother) rode down with my mother so he could visit me down here at UPMC. So he visited me for about 1 hour and then Jason and Vick came down to pick him up. Before the boys all left, I hadn't gone for my walk for the day yet so they decided to take me for my walk to the healing garden. Yes, that is really what it is called. We took the camera...thus the pictures.

What an end to my Thursday! Like I said, I have the best family in the world. Oh, and they have pretty good friends too! (: I'm such a luck person!! I couldn't have asked for a better family. I love them all and am SO thankful for them all!! (:
