(9.10)--Wedding Bells

September 10, 2011
9.10.11

Greg and Tessa Boyles

Tessa is my cousin-in-law...is that a thing? Haha...or Cousin Tessa? Well whatever her title is, she's so sweet. It's been fun getting to know the extended family better. Again, sure do wish we lived closer so that we could hang out more.

Tessa, who is a medical assistant at a doctor's office, is very outgoing, personable, and 100% a "people person", which makes all o' her patients (and coworkers) pleased. Greg loves hunting and works in the family business...Fat Jack's Pizza. Tessa worked as a waitress at Fat Jack's where guess who was her boss?? Yup, Greg. That's how they met.

The wedding was held at Greg's parent's home, which was absolutely breath-taking as you can see from the pictures below!!

The Bridal Party

Tessa and Greg Boyles

The absolutely delicious supper included:

BOTH Steak & Chicken
Mashed Potatoes
Corn

When we sat down at our table #13, there were two bags with names sitting on the table. One said "Jack" the other said "Jill". I noticed that there was a bag for all the li'l children that attended the reception. The bag was filled with different fun children toys (bouncy balls, footballs, dolls, etc...). I asked the family sitting at our table if they had a "Jill" in their family. They said, "No, we have Jack." So it was then that I realized Tessa (Aunt Di and Canon) put together a bag just for me. They weren't sure if I would be able to eat whatever they were serving, so they knew I loved pickles and pretzels...

...and that what was in my bag...

The awesome bottle cooler holder
(Yeah, don't know their real name!)

"The Hunt is Over!!"
Wanna bet Greg the Hunter picked this out?

Seth Dancing with his Mama...

Sunday Lunch!!

We all went out to eat after church.

This picture makes me happy...

Silly Face Picture...

Hannah took this picture.
...gotta start 'em out young...

After lunch, everyone parted their separate ways to go home.

Some people just wanted to get home...fast!

Po-Po's made sure everyone was driving safe.

People were getting pulled over left and right...

...and then, more...to the right...

It was a privilege to watch Greg and Tessa vow to love and cherish each other for the rest o' their lives. How exciting!! It made me reminisce to our wedding...what a joyous occasion! Out on the dance floor, it was so much fun to slow dance with my wonderful husband. It reminded me how I'm the luckiest girl in the whole word!!

Ace and Cait watching some cartoons.

Yes, we make some pretty crazy faces...

Ace and Cait thought we were weird.

Li'l Cait really loved Cousin Ace.

The boys were learning about animals on the TV!

Cait wasn't impressed with my silly faces...

Us cuddling with the kid-lits

Lots o' snuggle time with Cousin ACE!!!

These kids really know how to cheer me up...

Me smiling at Cait!! She wasn't sure what to think...

I'm not sure that I've explained about our NOT cat.

So here it goes.

We got new neighbors back in the fall, and shortly afterwards we noticed this cat. It was pretty scared o' us at first, but after plenty o' coaxing and lots o' petting that cat warmed up to us. Eventually, we would drive the car under the carport, and by the time we got out o' the car, she'd be right by our feet. She will run to our door and sit and wait for us till we let her in. If we are inside and she is outside and wants in, she will jump up on the screen o' our door and look at us!!

We call her Bernadette, or Berny for short!! Ace would let her in and upstairs and she would sit at my feet while I laid in bed all day!! She was great company!!

My Last Visitor--Our NOT cat...Bernadette!

So thankful for all my visitors that stopped by to cheer me up!!

I have the best friends and family!!

Love you all!!

MUAH!!

THE END!!!

Misc. Hip pics

Here are some o' the pictures after I got my stitches out!

I added the tape fir a li'l extra protection

Pretty, Right?

When I went to take the tape off it pulled the steri-strips off as well.

See? FOUR Steri-Strips!!

It's a li'l bruised.

They were able to use the same incision site as last time.

They just added 1.5 more inches...

Look...it's getting better!!! YAY!!!

Here are some random pictures from my surgery.

Jackie Andrews stopped over to our house to do some stuff for me.

Ace made her a wonderful dessert...

HOT Apple Pie...ice-cream...even a few cashews.

My calendar...filled with things to do!!

Mama Finnegan sent me some magazines!!

Rachel Brubaker wrote my gram a b-day card!

I thought it was just so sweet!!

I didn't take many pictures though, it was a rough recovery. Physical therapy is going well and I'm working hard to get myself back to my "normal" self! Lots o' rest and TONS o' icing my hip!! Praying soon, I'll be able to go running and leaping and praising God!! <--I love that song!! (:
